About Us

Our aim :

Fingertime's goal is to provide the best free games on the web! We aim to develop a safe fun community for gamers of all ages to spend time, challenge their friends and have fun for free.

Who we are and why we do it

Fingertime is independently owned and run by dedicated experienced game developers who want to create original games for everyone to play around the world. This is not just another online game site full of links to other peoples content - we create our own games, and select only the best games from other developers.

Fingertime was established in 2003 as an R&D project. As our traffic and users grew, we realised it could develop into a full gaming community. We have spent the last year totally redeveloping the site to give us and our users more room to develop great games and let users get as involved to a much greater level. We hope you enjoy the new site.

Adverts and banners

Although the site is solely funded by advertising revenue, we are very aware that many users find adverts intrusive and annoying, which is why we only run a few industry standard ad slots and definitely do NOT run pop-unders and pop-ups or support spyware.

Where some of our advertising is provided by third parties and as much as possible we monitor the quality of those adverts to avoid any content that might offend our users or that is not appropriate to our audience. If you are prompted to install software or receive alert messages originating from advertising on our site, please let us know as much information as possible including the URL you are directed to and we will remove this advertiser from our system as fast as we can.

Advertisers and sponsors

We very much welcome interest from advertisers and commercial partners who wish to sponsor games or commission us to create original games for you. We can also manage third party developers to create games or host seeded games for you. Online games are a great way to engage with an audience, but it's important that the quality and gameplay is as important as the brand. First and foremost gamers come to play and it's always possible to reach a happy medium.

Game developers and designers

As gamers and developers, we support the flash game development community and are always looking for great games and original ideas. If you have a game in development or recently completed, drop us a line and we can discuss sponsoring it, either exclusively or a shared license with other sites, or we can even co-develop a title.

As web technologies develop and tastes change, we want to keep the site fresh and add more of what our gamers love most.
