Ken.tyrrel.. gonna try your strategy on my next go. My personal best is just over 30,000 so you have done better than me with your strategy so gonna give it a go. Keep fishing!!! haha.

Thank you Jillyd for your advice. I've tried to use all the available tools. For my first visit to shop, I try to buy fuel and fish food, as soon as possible. Then, in the following buyings, I try to acquire the cooler, the deep charge and the $ 250 device.
After this, as soon as possible, I try to buy the $ 750 device (to recover the harpoon much faster). And finally I buy the $ 999 device, to recover the harpoon after a wrong launching. That's my strategy.

Ken.tyrrel. the only advantage I have found with the 7,999 harpoon is that you can kill the whales and turtles. But to be honest whenever I have used them the target almost doubles so is very hard to reach your target. I only use fish food, the extra time and the $250 thing. I buy the $750 tool as soon as possible, but that's about all I buy. I occasionally buy the map just to catch some treasure just to releive the boredom of just catching fish.

I think that are neccesary more explanations about using more adavanced tools, such as the big harpoon and the engines, cos they seems to be useless for the game.

Is there anybody that knows about the usage of this powerful elements?
